Jerry Back, MD is the only board certified doctor in South Carolina in internal medicine and cholesterol and he is a recognized expert in diabetes (type 1, type 2) management. He is a knowledgeable speaker and educator in these areas, and passionately believes that with today’s advanced medical information, medication and technology, dying prematurely from a heart attack or stroke is completely preventable.
Advanced Centers for Internal Medicine focuses on health prevention strategies for adult patients who have recently been diagnosed with diabetes type 1 or type 2, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. We also provide comprehensive treatment and education for patients who have difficulty getting these medical conditions under control or who have complications from them.
